Multi Jet Fusion (MJF) is a cutting-edge 3D printing technology that offers superior surface finish, fine details, and high-strength parts compared to traditional methods. Unlike other 3D printing techniques, MJF provides consistent quality with excellent durability, making it suitable for applications in automotive, aerospace, healthcare, consumer goods, and industrial manufacturing.

At UG3DS, we use advanced MJF technology to deliver exceptional results, ensuring that every part meets high standards of strength, flexibility, and precision. One of the key benefits of choosing our MJF 3D printing service is the ability to produce parts with superior detail and accuracy. MJF technology uses fine powder materials that are selectively fused together with a precise agent, allowing for strong and functional components without the need for additional support structures.

This results in high-quality prints with smooth surfaces, making them ready for immediate use in various applications. Whether you need prototypes for product testing or full-scale production parts, our MJF 3D printing service is designed to meet your specific needs. At UG3DS, we prioritize material quality to ensure that our prints offer the best performance. We use high-grade materials like PA12 and PA11, known for their strength, durability, and resistance to wear and tear.

These materials are perfect for producing parts that require excellent impact resistance, chemical stability, and long-lasting performance. Our team helps clients select the right material based on their project requirements, ensuring that every printed part delivers the expected functionality and durability. Customization is at the core of our services.

We understand that every project is unique, and we provide tailored solutions to meet different industry demands. Our team works closely with clients to optimize designs, improve functionality, and ensure cost-effective production. Whether you require lightweight components for aerospace applications or strong, load-bearing parts for industrial use, we have the expertise to deliver high-quality prints that match your specifications.

Speed and efficiency are crucial in today’s fast-paced industries, and our MJF 3D printing service is designed to provide quick turnaround times without compromising quality. MJF technology enables faster print cycles compared to traditional manufacturing methods, allowing businesses to accelerate their product development process. Our streamlined workflow and advanced equipment ensure that we meet tight deadlines while maintaining the highest standards of precision and reliability.

One of the major advantages of MJF 3D printing is its ability to produce complex geometries and intricate designs that are difficult or impossible to achieve with conventional methods. This opens up new possibilities for product innovation and design freedom. Whether you need lattice structures for lightweight components or highly detailed functional parts, our MJF 3D printing service allows you to push the boundaries of creativity and engineering.

Multi Jet Fusion (MJF) is HP’s proprietary 3D printing process. In MJF, parts are built by jetting a binding agent onto thin layers of polymer powder particles (typically nylon) and then sintering them using an IR heat source. MJF produces functional plastic parts with isotropic mechanical properties that can be used for detailed prototyping or end-use low-volume production.

Process Of MJf

In MJF, parts are built by jetting a binding agent onto thin layers of polymer powder particles (typically nylon) and then sintering them using an IR heat source. With a layer height of 80 microns, parts have high density and low porosity, compared to PA 12 parts produced with Laser Sintering.

Although new products continually emerge within additive manufacturing, outpacing the power of the original 3D printing systems developed in the mid-80s is still a challenging feat. Enter the mighty technology known as Multi Jet Fusion (MJF) though–built on the benefits and premises of previous conventional and 3D printing technologies.

Design guidelines for MJF

The table below summarizes the recommended and technically feasible values for the most common features encountered in 3D printed parts.

Feature Recommended size
Unsupported walls 1.0 mm (0.040'')
Supported walls 0.7 mm (0.030'')
Minimum detail size 0.25 mm (0.010'')
Minimum hole size 1.0 mm (0.040'')
Moving parts 0.5 mm (0.020'') between moving surfaces
Assembly clearance 0.4 mm (0.016'') between mating surfaces
Maximum wall thickness 20 mm (0.8''). Thicker parts must be hollowed and contain at least two escape holes for powder removal with a min. diameter of 8 mm (0.3'').
